Description
The purpose of this synopsis is to notify industry of the Air Forces' intent to award a Sole Source follow on contract directed toward FIRSTMARK AEROSPACE CORPORATION (3MBV1), Creedmoor, North Carolina, the only qualified source of repair. Place of Performance is 3BMV1 Creedmoor, North Carolina. This effort will entail a non-commercial solution for repair. The Government does not have the associated technical data to provide the potential sources. Consequently, potential sources for this effort typically would be companies which have a license or agreement with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) to complete the work described, including military specific modifications
Counterfeit Protection Plan Required.
IAW FAR 9.2, this synopsis constitutes notice that the Air Force has Qualified Requirements (QRs) for the repair of Electronic Control Amplifier, NSN 5596-00-456-8705-NT. This qualification requirement provides the minimum criteria and procedures to be used to qualify a contractor to accomplish repair of the above item. All repair efforts shall be in accordance with the applicable work specifications, technical orders, and qualification requirements.

3 Year Contract: 1 year base at 6 each, 5 each for Options 1 and 2; 16 Total
The contractor shall furnish all required labor, facilities, equipment and all material to accomplish, repair and/or modifications, test, packing, preservation and packaging, and return to the Government in a completely serviceable condition, at the unit prices(s) established at the time of contract award, the items of the Air Force equipment listed below, all in accordance with the provisions of the Performance Work Statement. (PWS).

CONTRACT TYPE, PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE AND SMALL BUSINESS SUBCONTRACTING
The current acquisition strategy is to issue a Firm Fixed Price requirements contract with one base year and two one year options under FAR 15. The contemplated period of performance is 12 September 2020 through 11 September 2023. The Government has determined this effort will not be a small business set aside. The contractor will be required to meet all small business participation requirements included in the contract, and fulfill all the requirements of the subcontracting plan included in the contract.
