About this opportunity

This Special Notice announces a webinar hosted by the U.S. Department of Energy to provide information on its Pre-Demonstration Commercialization Support Voucher Opportunity. The voucher program aims to increase adoption readiness of clean energy technologies by funding bankability studies, manufacturing/supply chain assessments, community benefits assessments, and other technoeconomic analyses for eligible companies.

The objective of the voucher program is to accelerate commercialization and market integration of technologies developed with prior DOE funding support. Companies that received DOE research, development or demonstration funding within the last 5 years are eligible to apply. A webinar on October 26th will outline the voucher application process and requirements as well as the types of analyses that can be funded. Eligible companies must fill out a registration form by the posted deadline of October 25th to join the webinar. The voucher program seeks to advance clean energy technologies towards their first large-scale demonstration projects through additional commercialization support.

Notice text

Are you a company (for-profit entity) who received support from DOE through a research, development, and/or demonstration financial assistance agreement in the last 5 years? This opportunity is designed to provide additional support in the form of a voucher to obtain bankability studies, manufacturing/supply chain assessments, community benefits assessments, and other technoeconomic analyses. The goal is to accelerate the commercialization of your technology and prepare it for the market or for integration into a large-scale first-of-a-kind demonstration project. See below for additional info about eligibility and timeline.

As part of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law Technology Commercialization Fund, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Technology Transitions (OTT), Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations (OCED), and Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE), in collaboration with ENERGYWERX, is offering its Pre-Demonstration Commercialization Support Voucher Opportunity (VO-1) to eligible companies to increase adoption readiness (with a focus on value proposition and market acceptance) of clean energy technologies.

A webinar for interested recipient applicants will be held on October 26th. The webinar will provide more information on the Voucher program, requirements for application, and the voucher opportunities available. To join, please visit https://energywerx.wufoo.com/forms/m1vvwo4h0cr8o6l/ to fill out an RSVP form.
