Description
This synopsis of a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) Office requirement is to be solicited on a sole source basis to: Sensor Concepts and Applications, Inc., 5200 Glen Arm Road, Suite A, Glen Arm, MD 21057-9475.
This is a noncompetitive action under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). Based on Market Research, SCA is the only source which has the ability to execute the required services for packing, moving and disposing of test equipment and supplies which are housed at the SCA owned and operated warehouse. SCA will dispose, load and ship designated Government equipment and hazardous materials to specific destinations as listed in the statement of work (SOW).
The Government anticipates awarding a single contract as a result of the solicitation. The Government is not utilizing a General Services Administration Schedule or any sort of Government-wide or multiple-award contract to issue an order.
The primary place of performance will be at the SCA facilities. The Period of Performance will include a two (2) month base period and one (1) month option period.
No response to this synopsis is requested. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
