About this opportunity
The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is seeking to procure 21 units of a Radio Set with National Stock Number 1R-5820-017013705-LX. This pre-solicitation notice indicates the government intends to sole source the contract to Boeing (CAGE 28980) under FAR 6.302-1 authority. Interested parties have 45 days from the publication date (until June 24, 2025) to submit proposals, quotations, or capability statements demonstrating their ability to meet the requirement. The procurement will be for delivery FOB Origin, with early and incremental deliveries preferred. The government has determined that it lacks sufficient accurate data to purchase this part/contract repair from sources other than the current supplier.
The contract opportunity is not set aside for any specific business category and does not appear to have a specified award value. The quantity requirement is specifically for 21 units of the radio set, with reference number 4866123-101-1. While the government is not using FAR Part 12 policies for commercial items, interested parties can still identify their capability to satisfy the requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of the notice. Technical documentation and specifications can be obtained through the DoDSingle Stock Point (DODSSP) at Document Automation and Production Service in Philadelphia, PA, with most documents available in Adobe PDF format through ASSIST-Online. Potential vendors can access these materials online or contact the DODSSP ASSIST Help Desk for additional information.
