Update #6 · Latest ·

The original requirement for the procurement of Air Transport Racks (ATR) Chassis for the AN/TPX-42A(V) Shipboard Air Traffic Control (ATC) System from Atrenne Computing Solutions (ATS) was synopsized on 17 June 2015, under Solicitation N-68335-15-R-0193 as a five (5) year IDIQ.

This amended synopsis will increase the number of ATR Chassis to 110 units.
The Naval Air Systems Command intends to solicit and negotiate a Fixed Price 5-Year Indefinate Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract for up to 72 each Air Transport Racks (ATR) Chassis for the AN/TPX-42A(V) Shipboard Air Traffic Control (ATC) System from Atrenne Computing Solutions (ATS). Design and data rights are proprietary to ATS. This Chassis is a configuration controlled part of the system, modified specifically for the ATC system. It is the only known device to meet the requirements of the overall design configuration.

THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS AND NO COMPETITIVE SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED ON FedBizOps. ATS will receive a Request for Proposal from the Government on a Sole Source basis. This acquisition is being pursued on a Part Number Basis under the statutory authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901, Simplified acquisition procedures (Test Program for Certain Commercial Items) A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will consider all responses received within 15 days after the publication of the applicable synopsis.

The Navy has a controlled configuration ATR chassis that has been modified to distribute power, meet cooling requirements, and has been tested for compliance with Mil Std 901D and 167 for shock and vibration. This ATR houses and protects the entire ATC system on both ship-board and land-based applications. Atrenne Computing Systems is the only known source capable of meeting this requirement as their ATR chassis meets all certifications, interoperability, and commonality requirements with the currently fielded systems.
