About this opportunity
The Air Force Sustainment Center is conducting market research through a Sources Sought Synopsis, due August 25, 2026, to identify potential manufacturers for a Flight Controller spares procurement (B1 platform, NSN 6615-01-276-8318, P/N 4030468-907). No set-aside is anticipated; the Government is open to all business types, including large businesses, small businesses, 8(a)s, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, HUBZone businesses, and women-owned small businesses.
Place of performance is Tinker AFB, Oklahoma. The requirement involves new manufacture of an estimated 28 units with no repair component. Interested sources must be capable of furnishing all labor, materials, facilities, and equipment for new manufacture, including component procurement, inspection, testing, preservation, packaging, and shipping. Sources may also be responsible for supply chain management, logistics planning, forecasting, long-lead time parts procurement, diminishing manufacturing sources mitigation, and nonrecurring engineering costs. Unit pricing will be established at contract award.
The procurement falls under NAICS 336413 (Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing) with a size standard of 1,250 employees. Federal Stock Class is 6615. This is market research only; no solicitation is currently available, no funds are committed, and no contractual commitment will result from this effort. Interested vendors must select "Add Me to Interested Vendors" to participate. Responses should be sent to 421scms.requirements.workflow@us.af.mil. Potential sources seeking qualification must submit a Source Approval Request package through DoD SAFE to 429SCMS.SASPO.Workflow@us.af.mil.
