About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation has issued a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for four circuit card assemblies with NSN 5998-01-088-7729, seeking newly manufactured electronic components designed to produce electric signals and initiate indicator functions. The solicitation, identified as SPRTA1-25-Q-0048, requires suppliers to provide complex electronic assemblies containing sensitive components like transistors, diodes, and microcircuits. This procurement is specifically for a Foreign Military Sales case designated as EG-D-RAL and carries a DO-A1 rating, indicating strategic importance. The RFQ was posted on December 9, 2024, with proposal responses due by January 9, 2025, and contractors must commit to holding pricing firm for 120 days. While specific evaluation criteria are not detailed, the solicitation emphasizes requirements for origin inspection, IUID marking, and adherence to military packaging standards MIL-STD-2073-1 and MIL-STD-129.

The solicitation is not designated as a small business set-aside and falls under NAICS category 336413 with a size standard of 1,250 employees. Potential contractors must be prepared to meet comprehensive technical specifications for electrical and electronic assemblies, with delivery required by July 21, 2025. Early or partial delivery is acceptable at no additional cost, providing flexibility for suppliers. The procurement involves manufacturing electrical components classified under Product Service Code 5998, targeting vendors with capabilities in producing sophisticated electronic equipment for military applications. While specific award value is not disclosed, the requirement for four circuit card assemblies suggests a moderate-scale procurement focused on precise technical manufacturing capabilities within the aerospace and defense electronics sector.
