About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation is seeking to procure Circuit Card Assemblies (NSN 0R-5998-017256390-RQ) with a quantity of 6 units to be delivered FOB Origin. This pre-solicitation notice indicates a highly specialized procurement process where the government intends to negotiate with a limited number of sources under FAR 6.302-1 authority. Potential contractors must have prior government source approval due to the flight-critical nature of the item, which requires submission of detailed technical data through the NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Source Approval Information Brochure. Interested parties have 45 days from the publication date to submit proposals, capability statements, or expressions of interest. The government will evaluate submissions to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement, with a final response deadline of June 30, 2025.

The procurement is not set aside for any specific business category and will follow a non-standard acquisition approach that does not utilize FAR Part 12 commercial item policies. While specific award values are not disclosed, contractors must demonstrate technical capability and have pre-existing approval from the government to be considered. The solicitation emphasizes that only sources previously approved by the government will be seriously considered, and new sources must submit comprehensive technical documentation for evaluation. Proposals that do not provide complete source approval documentation will be automatically disqualified. The government reserves the right to continue award processes based on fleet support needs, even if source approval evaluations cannot be completed within the expected timeframe.
