Catalog effort for sikorsky 78286

TITLE:

Multiple NSNs for OEM Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation.

This agency proposes to issue a Letter Request for Proposal (RFP) to the Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation CAGE 78286 in an effort to create a Long Term Contract for the below 468 NIINs / Part Numbers. A total of 468 NSNs identified on Sikorsky's online ordering catalog are targeted for this contract effort. It is anticipated that the 468 NSNs will be priced for the award. The proposed action is intended to be awarded on a sole source basis to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, CAGE 78286.

Surplus dealers and small business dealers and distributors having existing stocks of surplus or newly manufactured material are invited to respond to the synopsis. The response should include a completed surplus certificate, DLAD 52.211-9000, Government Surplus Material, or adequate traceability documentation to show product is acceptable. In addition, respondents should identify quantity available and price. DLA will consider all such responses and may alter the acquisition strategy if purchase of existing surplus or newly-manufactured inventory is in the best interest of the government. Additionally, letters expressing interest in subcontracting provided to the contracting officer will be forwarded to the identified Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). This is proposed to be a FAR Part 15 effort.

The attached list of NSNs are the items that have been identified for this current action. If other NSNs are subsequently added, they will be synopsized separately. These items have been identified as sole source to Sikorsky CAGE 78286. Responses to this announcement from other than the OEM are required by July 15, 2018 and should identify items of interest and include evidence of ability to supply the items for the contract period as identified. A copy of the letter of interest should be forwarded to the contracting officer identified herein, Sean M. Farley sean.farley@dla.mil
