The Bureau of Reclamation, Great Plains Regional Office intends to award a contract for Law Enforcement Patrol services to the Lewis & Clark County Sheriff Office for Canyon Ferry Reservoir, Canyon Ferry Dam, Government Camp, Offices and Recreation Complex located in Lewis & Clark County, Montana. Reclamation has authority to establish contracts with local law enforcement agencies to enforce state and local regulations, as appropriate. Reclamation has found the Lewis & Clark County Sheriff's Office to be the only source with full arrest authority in Lewis & Clark County to successfully complete the required law enforcement and patrol services.
The resulting contract will be for a 12 month base period, and include 4 additional 12-month option periods.
Since Reclamation believes that only one responsible source can fully provide the services that will satisfy the agency's requirements, a Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition is being prepared. The Government anticipates award around on or around November 14, 2016; services to begin December 1, 2016. Vendors that have questions regarding the sole source nature of the requirement or vendors that believe they can fully provide the required services are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notification to the Contracting Officer.
In order to allow for sufficient Government consideration and potential quote evaluation, vendors must submit their written capabilities statement and company profile no later than September 22, 2016. Responses received after September 22, 2016, may not be considered by the Government. Responses to this notice can be mailed to the Bureau of Reclamation - GP-5000; PO Box 36900; Billings, Montana 59107, faxed to 406-247-7798, Attn: Amanda Somerville, or e-mailed to asomerville@usbr.gov.
