The contractor must obtain updated utility short-circuit and fault contribution data independently from two feeders (Alliant Energy and City of Ames). Delivery is 180 days from Notice to Proceed; work is performed normal hours (7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday).

Evaluation uses lowest price technically acceptable method, weighing price, technical acceptability, and past performance. Personnel must have documented experience with arc flash studies, OSHA 1910 Subpart S training, SKM PowerTools proficiency, and preferably NETA-certified technicians. A one-year warranty applies to labels. Service Contract Act wage rates apply per Wage Determination 2015-4975, Revision 28, effective May 13, 2026.
