The Defense Logistics Agency, DLA Maritime Norfolk, Norfolk Naval Shipyard Contracting Division, intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price, 100% small business set-aside contract to procure:

  1. CABLE ASSEMBLY SPEC,  SSN688 CLASS A-PHASE (31’+ 8” CABLE LENGTH),
  • P/N: 103438-19 (ITT CANNON (H104294) P/N 103438-5015 or CROUSE HINDS (X8181-112) Catalogue Number 568000-20)
  • NAVSEA Drawing 803-1197260-C
    • Manufacture Item 52 (Outboard A-Phase Plug Assembly, Sheet 10 for MFR) molded to one end of Item 70 (Cable, SHOF-500) and the other end molded with 3 O-Ring Type Motor Connection SSN688 Class (IT CANNON P/N H104294-0003 or CROUSE-HINDS P/N X8181-112, See Detail 23-A) as shown on Sheet 23 of Drawing 803-1197260 and Tested per General Note 26.B. of Drawing 803-1197260. Drawing is attached to the JML.

This procurement will be processed in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The solicitation number is SPMYM1-22-Q-0173 and it is expected to be posted on or around 12 JULY 2022. Quotes will be due by 5:00 PM EST on 18 JULY 2022 and may be emailed to the attention of LaKeisha Violenusellis to lakeisha.violenusellis@dla.mil. Please make sure that the solicitation number (SPMYM1-22-Q-0173) is included in the subject line of any email correspondence. Emails without subject lines will not be read because of security issues. Vendors must answer all evaluation factors and sign the first page of the solicitation for their bids to be considered viable.

 Award will be based on Best Delivery and Lowest Price Technically Acceptable of material that meets salient characteristics.

Vendors are hereby notified that the solicitation and any subsequent amendments to the solicitation will only be available by downloading the document on www.sam.gov (Systems for Award Management). By submitting a quote, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither it nor its principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal agency.
