About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime is seeking to procure 50 blast coveralls in four different sizes (XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL) from a small business manufacturer. The solicitation requires detailed compliance with specific federal procurement guidelines, including cybersecurity requirements under NIST SP 800-171 and standard representation certifications. Potential contractors must submit their electronic quotes via SAM.gov by 10:00 AM on April 14, 2025, and must provide comprehensive documentation including their CAGE code, manufacturer details, and country of manufacturing origin. Bidders are required to annotate lead times and ensure their quote is fully executed, with specific attention to signing Box 28 and completing Boxes 30 A, B, and C on the solicitation document. The evaluation will likely focus on responsiveness to the technical specifications, compliance with federal requirements, and ability to meet the May 1, 2025 delivery timeline.

The solicitation is designated as a total small business set-aside, targeting small business contractors in the Commercial and Service Industry Machinery Manufacturing sector (NAICS 333310). The contract is for blast coveralls with specific technical requirements, including a heavy-duty nylon front for abrasion resistance, breathable cotton back, elasticized waist and wrists, and triple-stitched construction for durability. The place of performance is Silverdale, Washington, with delivery FOB destination in Bremerton, WA. While specific award value is not explicitly stated, the procurement involves 50 units across four size variations. The solicitation indicates a focus on detailed technical compliance, manufacturer specifications, and adherence to federal procurement standards, with the RPB manufacturer seeming to be the referenced product standard for the blast coveralls.
