About this opportunity
The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation is seeking to procure Turbine Blades for aircraft engines, specifically for the F100 engine, through a full and open competitive solicitation. The pre-solicitation notice details a requirement for Blade Sets, Turbine A, with a National Stock Number of 2840-01-559-7051NZ, which are critical safety items used in transmitting hot gas energy into rotational mechanical energy. The contract will be a firm fixed price arrangement, with electronic solicitation procedures to be used and all documents available exclusively on sam.gov. Interested parties have 45 days from the publication date to submit capability statements or proposals, with an anticipated solicitation release date of June 13, 2025, and a closing/response date of July 15, 2025. Potential offerors can direct questions to Aric Harmon or Keith Russ via email, and an Ombudsman is available at (405) 855-3552 to address contractor concerns during the proposal development phase.
The solicitation has no specific set-aside designation and indicates Raytheon Technologies Corporation as a qualified source. The contract requires delivery of 324 total Turbine Blade Sets across four line items, with destinations including DROE00, DPT006, DPK002, and DROP00, all to be delivered on or before January 4, 2027.
