About this opportunity
The Air Force Sustainment Center at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma is soliciting proposals for the purchase, delivery, installation, and training for two automated parts cleaning systems to be used by the 76th Component Maintenance Squadron. The contractor must deliver, install, and configure two automated cleaning lines by the deadline specified in the contract line item schedule. Training for operators and maintenance personnel is also required. Proposals are due by February 3, 2020 and will be evaluated on technical approach, past performance, and price to award a firm-fixed-price contract.
This requirement has been set aside for small businesses under NAICS code 332812, Metal Coating, Engraving (and Allied Services), with a place of performance at Tinker Air Force Base. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management database and provide pricing for the cleaning systems, installation, and training using the contract line items structure provided. The automated cleaning systems will support multiple aircraft platforms and must demonstrate the ability to clean parts to commercial standards within one week of installation. The total value of this contract is estimated between $500,000-$1,000,000.

This contract effort is for purchase, delivery and installation of two automated parts cleaning systems and the training on the maintenance, calibration (if applicable), programing (if applicable) and use of the parts cleaning systems. The cleaning systems will be used for various accessory items that support multiple aircraft platforms per their relevant Technical Orders (TO’s). The overall project shall be considered a whole and complete procurement. That is, final acceptance requirements have been met and approved by the appropriate Government POCs and operational training has been conducted.
The cleaning systems described in this document are intended for the use of 76CMXG/550 CMMXS and will be installed in Building 200, Room 119, Tinker AFB, OK. This shop runs weekdays from 0545 to 1430 with possible overtime hours from 1430 to 2300 on weekdays or from 0545 to 1430 on the weekend. All installation work associated with this contract shall have no impact on production.
