The Laboratory of Malaria Immunology and Vaccinology (LMIV) conducts research on the discovery and elimination of malaria. LMIV carries out research and develops effective vaccines for attempting to eliminate malaria from the human population. The LMIV has a need for a filtration system to effectively separate the fermentation cells from the broth to utilize our vaccine candidates. In order to effectively perform product recovery after fermentation, the laboratory requests the ATKA Readyflux equipment which has fast processing time with the allowance of two filters in place on the skid. This skid allows for multiple filtration technologies without major modifications to the system.
