The target enrichment system shall combine the robustness of hybridization with the high specificity and speed of PCR, requiring only 200 ng input DNA. The system shall cover more than 100,000 amplicons per reaction to enable fast and simple analysis of genomic regions of interest for a large number of samples material using low amounts of DNA. Up to 10 amplicons should be designed to each target region to improve coverage and minimize risk or allele drop-out. The system shall support Illumina's family of sequencers.
