About this opportunity
Naval Supply Systems Command is preparing to procure 14 units of a pressure adapter (NSN 0Q-4730-014638722-CL, Reference Number 236-0156-01), delivery FOB origin, with responses due July 7, 2026. This is a sole-source procurement restricted to Government-approved sources only; the item is flight critical and the Government lacks adequate technical data to support full and open competition.
Only previously Government-approved sources have been solicited. Unapproved sources may compete only by submitting complete source-approval documentation alongside their proposal, using either the NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Spares or Repair Source Approval Information Brochure as applicable. Offers that fail to provide or document submission of all required source-approval data will not be considered for award. Offerors with source-approval requests currently under evaluation at NAVSUP WSS must submit a copy of their request cover letter with their proposal.
NAVSUP WSS cautions that if source-approval evaluation cannot be completed in time to meet Government delivery requirements, award may proceed based on Fleet support needs using only currently approved sources, bypassing the approval timeline for new vendors. Interested offerors should reference the NAVSUP WSS business opportunities portal for source-approval guidance specific to their company's production experience with the same or similar items.
