About this opportunity
The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) is seeking repair services for one unit of a Generator, Alternator (NSN 6115-011149696), designated as a Critical Safety Item (CSI) for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) case DE-P-RAJ. This is a sole source procurement under an already-established Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA), meaning the government has determined that only the current source possesses sufficient technical data and capability to perform this specialized repair work. The contractor must provide evaluation, labor, materials, and parts necessary to restore the government-owned generator to operating condition, and must comply with rigorous requirements including ISO 9001 certification, configuration management, hazardous material identification, MIL-STD-2073-1 packaging standards, and CMMC Level 1 cybersecurity maturity model certification. The procurement is set aside for Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) concerns. The proposal due date is April 8, 2026, at 2:00 PM local time, with the contracting officer being Dana Scott at 771-229-0557 or dana.l.scott14.civ@us.navy.mil.
This acquisition is not subject to any additional set-asides beyond the WOSB designation, and no specific incumbent contractor is identified in the solicitation. The contract structure establishes a firm fixed price arrangement with an initial induction period of 365 calendar days from contract award, extendable for an additional 365 days for a total of two years, allowing unused induction slots to carry over to the second year. Contractors must propose option pricing for a maximum of 10 units over the entire contract period, with total contract value calculated by multiplying the highest proposed unit price by the maximum quantity for threshold purposes; specific budget ranges are not disclosed in the solicitation. The place of performance is in the United States, with delivery to DDE005 (mark for code DDEK00). Applicants who are not pre-approved sources must submit source approval documentation with their proposals per the NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Brochure, or their offers will not be considered for award.
