About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) is seeking repair services for a SMART MULTIFUNCTION unit (NSN 7RH 5999 015687043 BL, Part Number 267A750-3) designated as a Critical Application Item (CAI). This is a sole-source Request for Quotation (RFQ) issued on March 11, 2026, under an already-established Blanking Order Agreement (BOA), with quotation submissions due by April 10, 2026. The repair work must comply with original manufacturer specifications and include all evaluation, labor, materials, and parts necessary to restore the item to operating condition. Contractors must provide firm fixed pricing and are required to obtain Government Source Approval prior to award; those not already approved must submit detailed source approval documentation as outlined in the NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Brochure or their proposals will not be considered. The solicitation emphasizes that the Government lacks sufficient, accurate, or legible data to contract with sources other than the current supplier, justifying the sole-source procurement approach.

This procurement involves no set-aside designations and covers the repair of one initial unit with an induction period of 365 calendar days from contract award, with the Government reserving the right to extend the period for an additional 365 days. Contractors must propose option pricing for a maximum of 10 units over the entire two-year contract period, with total contract value calculated by multiplying the highest proposed unit price by the maximum number of units. Packaging and marking must comply with MIL-STD-129 and MIL-STD-2073-1E standards, with reusable containers to be contractor-furnished for this aviation material application (COG code 7R). The items are subject to Free Trade Agreements and the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement. Performance of work will take place in the United States, and delivery terms are FOB Origin, with inquiries directed to Mrs. Dana Scott at dana.l.scott14.civ@us.navy.mil or 771-229-0557.
