The notice invites interested companies to demonstrate their capability to manufacture or legitimately obtain these supplies and to apply for approval as qualified sources through the Source Approval Request (SAR) Program. To qualify as an approved source, prospective contractors must submit a comprehensive application package that documents and demonstrates their product meets or exceeds the quality standards of the currently approved item that DLA Aviation procures. The evaluation will assess whether respondents possess the technical capability and manufacturing competence required to supply the identified items. The response deadline for this sources sought notice is February 20, 2026, and interested parties should contact Contract Specialist Melissa Gallagher at melissa.1.gallagher@dla.mil or 445-737-7106 for additional information.
This announcement carries no set-aside designation and serves as market research only, with no commitment to award a contract or obligation to pay for response preparation. Delivery dates for procured items span from February 2026 through July 2026, indicating an active and near-term acquisition timeline. No incumbent contractor information is identified in this sources sought notice, as the agency is conducting preliminary market research to identify capable alternative or additional suppliers. The contracting office is located at 6090 Strathmore Road, Richmond, Virginia 23297-5002, and companies meeting the qualifications should prepare their SAR applications accordingly prior to the February 20, 2026 deadline.
