The time for questions has passed; however, it appears that a description for the dispatcher was left out of the PWS. Here are some clarifications and the job description.
1) Is there 1 dispatcher 24 /7 to cover all locations and or one each at 4 different locations?
ANSWER: One dispatcher for all locations
2) Is there 1 supervisory PM and 4 EMT / paramedic teams for each location or is there 1 supervisory PM 24 7 to cover all areas?
ANSWER: One supervisory PM
3) The duties and qualifications of the dispatcher are not defined at all- does this person need to be an EMT or Paramedic?
ANSWER: Dispatcher is required to be Emergency Medical Technician qualified. Dispatcher is required to cover all locations 24/7 for EMS transportation requests to appropriately dispatch and provide directions to all WBAMC ambulance calls.
** The solicitation has been modified to include the Dispatcher description. Please see paragraph 1.2.2.4.
