Q1. Will you be hosting a site visit so that contractors can see the facility that employees will be working at? If so, what/day?

A1. We can hold a site visit for the awardee upon request.

Q2. For Wage Determination, is Springfield located in Sangamon County? Are we required to follow Executive Order of $10.35 for Food Service Worker and $4.41 for Health & Welfare?

A2. Yes, Springfield is located in Sangamon County. The Service Contract Act must be adhered to in determining employee wages for the performance of this contract. A copy of the current wage determination has been uploaded.

Q3. What level of bussing service is required for this Statement of Work? Do military personnel pick up plates/trays and bring to clipper area or does contractor do this service?

A3. Service members bring their trays, plates, bowls, silverware, cups, etc. to a cart after food residue is scraped off. The contractor will be responsible for transporting the cart to the dishwasher.

Q4. Does the military use paper products for plates/cups/bowls/silverware or are all products requiring dishwasher service?

A4. Service members are given the option of using a to-go container; however, all personnel that eat in the dining facility use reusable dishware. The number of people who use to-go containers is very minimal.

Q5. No current contractor performs these services, how does 7 military personnel currently fulfill this requirement?

A5. The personnel are used to run the clipper, work in the clipper room, and clean-up, to include taking out the trash.
