About this file

This document includes responses to questions from vendors regarding solicitation number W912LM-20-Q-0038 for aviation water buckets. The solicitation seeks six Bambi Max 5566 heads and four 60-foot long lines for Bambi Max buckets from vendors. The government response specifies the 5566 head is required for compatibility with UH-60L cargo hooks and that the alternative 4453 head will not fit. The long lines are also confirmed to be for the Bambi Max buckets. The government denies requests to substitute an alternative mobility sled and to change the solicitation NAICS code, requiring continued use of the G-Force product and code 339999 respectively.

SUBJECT: Aviation Water Buckets:W912LM-20-R=Q-0038 Responses to Questions

Question: Why is 6 x Bambi Max 5566 Head - 005748. wanted? This head isn't something we have ever sold before without a bucket. It is for the Bambi Max buckets, and looks like a metal triangle.

Governement Response: Bambi Max 5566 Head PN: 005748 QTY:3 (Require head for BBX5566 due to compatibility with the UH-60L. The BBX4453 Head will not fit on the UH-60L Cargo Hook)

Question: Are the 4 x Bambi Bucket Long Line - 60 Ft Long lines for the Bambi Max Buckets?

Governement Response: Yes

Question: Can we substitute our Bambi Mobility sled, instead of G-force?

Governement Response: No the Aviators have the G-Force products and to meet the usage requirements, timelines and personnel available it is required to continue using the G-Force product.

Question: Can the RFQ be revised to utilize NAICS code 339999

Governement Response: No image1.jpeg
