Can you tell me if there is an incumbent contractor currently performing work for this requirement? If so, could you please provide their company name and contract number? 7/22/2019 7/26/2019 7/29/2019 W912LA‐18‐P‐0069, Railroad Cleaners
2 7/12/2019
On the pricing submittal we are to use our own format correct? And you would like to see pricing for each one of the options correct? The reason I’m asking is that if we used the pages that are attached in the solicitation it would exceed the (10) page limit. 7/22/2019 7/26/2019 7/29/2019
You may use your own formatting but you must follow the CLIN structure as illustrated in PDF pages 17‐85 of Combined Synopsis‐Solicitation (i.e; Item No 0001 Supplies/Services Quantity Unit Unit Price Amount) for base and option years.

Can you tell me what material blend (100% cotton, 65/35 cotton/polyester blend, etc.) you would like the coveralls provided to be?
An example of the current coverall in use (Current provider, manufacturer, style number) would be very helpful so we can be sure to quote for like garments.

9/11/2019 For jackets, same question as coverall material requirement?
9/12/2019 9/12/2019 9/15/2019
Jackets should be breathable and water resistant and of a mechanic/technician type design for all locations except AASF‐1, AASF‐2, AASF‐3, and AAFA. The jacket should be of similar material to the coverall and the same or similar color to give the appearance of a coordinated uniform. The jacket should have insulation equivalent about 4oz Polyurethane foam. Up to 10% may need to be NFPA 2112 FR CAT 1 as per question 7 below.
The jackets at AASF‐1, AASF‐2, AASF‐3, and AAFA will need to be of the same design as the coverall or a solid high visibility color that matches the high visibility color of the coverall. The jackets need to be waterproof for up to 2 hours in 0.25" per hour rain and have a hood. A lightly insulated breathable rain slicker would be ideal.
4 9/11/2019
Will these coveralls require and barrier coating such as a 3M material?
9/12/2019 9/12/2019 9/15/2019 No
5 9/11/2019
Are the quantities noted under each location the number of individuals to be issued sets of coveralls or the total number required weekly for that facility?
9/12/2019 9/12/2019 9/15/2019
The Numbers listed in Annex A of the Solicitation are the number of personnel needing coveralls multiplied by 5. This was to indicate how many coveralls are needed each week.
For instance, if there are 30 employees needing coveralls then annex A lists "Coveralls ‐ 150".
6 9/11/2019
If each wearer works a 5 day week, are they required to have a clean set of coveralls for each day?
9/12/2019 9/12/2019 9/15/2019 Yes. Assume all employees work a 5 day work week
7 9/11/2019
If each wearer is required to have a clean set of coveralls each day of their workweek, then we would issue a set of 11 coveralls. Five delivered clean each week, five soiled picked up on that same day to be laundered, and the one coverall that they will be wearing on the delivery day. Is that your understanding of the need and how we shall quote the bid for coveralls?
9/12/2019 9/12/2019 9/15/2019 That method is satisfactory to meet the requirements

An example winter style hat is like a beanie, or a hat that has flaps that fold down to cover ears.
