Responses to Questions (Q&A), 17 Sept 2018, RFQ: W912LA-18-Q-9007

Q1 - Will it be possible to substitute the Rigid Lifeline Rail system by Spanco for the Gorbel Tether Track system? Please see the attached documentation showing the Rigid Lifeline system is equal or better than the Gorbel.

A1 – It is an acceptable substitute.

Q2 - Written SOW and drawings contain conflicting information. For example, written SOW says track systems to be rated for 2 users while drawings state only 1. Which document should we use for estimating purposes?

A2 – Use the SOW and reference the updated drawing.

Q3 - Written SOW indicates a single point anchor is needed for the nose section of the aircraft, however the track system for the wings of the aircraft extends all the way to the nose of the other aircraft. Is the single point anchor still required, or will extending the track all the way to the nose remove this need?

A3 – Yes, a single anchor point is required. Please see updated Drawing.

Q4 - Are photos available of inside the hangar?

A4 – Yes, see attached pictures.

Q5 - Are there any obstructions interfering with the way the track is currently laid out?

A5 – No, there are not any obstructions.

Q6 – Will full structural drawings be made available to the selected bidder?

A6 – Yes.

Q7 – Is there an anticipated award date?

A7 – Anticipated award date is 28 Sept 2018.
