Are all the toasters, slicer and can openers at all 4 locations working?

In the RFQ (Inf Meals) item # 10, it states that in the event "Caterers" who did not attend the site visit shall not be allowed to use the premises to cook or prepare any meals." I am presuming that means that in the event a company that did not attend the Florence "walk through" that they will not be allowed to utilize the kitchen facilities at those locations.

That is a correct statement.

We were sent a 21 day menu. Are we required to follow this menu to the letter or do we have the ability to alter our menu as long as it meets the Military standards?

The menus need to be in-line with price, safety/sanitation, compatible nutritional standards; not identical.

As of today everything is in working condition. Be advised AZNG units are going to be on Annual Training in the same time frame at a different location ; equipment may be taken to support the assigned unit. Vendor should have equipment on hand in case what was seen at the site visit is not available. Also, prior to the start date, the winning caterer will be allow access to the facility to test all kitchen equipment.

It was said that the slicer that was in the storage room at Kasson Readiness Center (Florence) would be brought out for the Caterers use is this still possible?

That would be arranged on site through the building manager and/or contract liaison. Be mindful, that is new equipment. Verify the working condition prior to use with a building manager and/or liaison, as you will become responsible for that equipment.

Are all the coffee makers in the four locations working and what size filters do they use?

We are not sure what size is at each location. We believe BMRC is 3 gallon filters. Best solution is to purchase filter bag coffee. All are currently working. Prior to the start date, the winning caterer will be allow access to the facility to test all kitchen equipment.
