Questions answers and site visit notes ‐‐moving modular buildings 911th to 171st

1. The two units need to be on the ground and out of the 418‐911

Facility NLT 9/15/17

2. The same two units need to be reassembled and complete by 9/30/17

3. Contractor will not be responsible for decommissioning sprinklers, fire detection, main power, HVAC or any of the main facilities to both modular buildings

4. Contractor will not be required to attach the same primary facilities to the 2 modulars when they are reassembled in 304‐171.

5. Contractor will not be required to install a sub floor or finish floor in the two modular after reinstallation

6. Given that both parties are unclear on what may not be reusable, the base is willing to work with contractor to amend this proposal as required to allow contractor to get the replacement materials as needed.

Questions:

1. Should we assume that we need to provide a dumpster for this project?

Yes the contractor is responsible for all waste materials and their proper disposal, so at least one dumpster.

2. Is it at all possible to work Saturdays?

NO Saturday work at the 911th will be permitted, the CVI is not open or manned for construction activities. As for the 171st …. The published schedule in the proposal states

Monday through Friday. They may request to work Saturdays but that issue will be handled at that time

3. We are assuming that once this is awarded, contractor will have clear unfettered access to the building, all of the mobile aisle systems , desk etc. will be removed.

The buildings should be empty prior to work starting
