Description of Requirement:

I am looking for construction services to Install Master Shutoff Switch to Existing HVAC ( 0BASE). The Contractor shall provide all plant, labor, materials and supervision to perform the work described herein.

Estimated cost of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000.

The purpose is to add seventy (70) emergency shutoff switches in existing HVAC systems distributed throughout forty-seven (47) military facilities to comply with antiterrorism standards. The purpose of the emergency shutoff switch is to help protect personnel during terrorism attacks. The emergency shutoff switch is designed to shut down the HVAC systems immediately to help prevent airborne contaminants from spreading. The emergency shutoff switch is designed to shut down specific areas in the HVAC systems immediately (for example sleeping quarters, offices, entry ways which may have window or door access), while leaving airflow at interior building locations least likely to spread airborne contaminants for safe evacuation pathways.
