Aqueous Parts Washer Purchase

PURPOSE

Purchasing an aqueous parts washer

Discussion The 115 Repair and Reclamation Shop (R&R) is looking to replace the current solvent tank parts washer. The current parts washer requires manual cleaning by hand and uses a harsh solvent (PD-680) that requires multiple layers of PPE and gives off a noxious odor. An aqueous parts washer cleans the parts like a dish washer, uses a water soluble cleaner and uses power jets in an enclosed housing reducing exposure to chemicals and vapors and greatly reducing man hours cleaning wheels and parts.
