The following questions and answers are provided for informational purposes only:
Question 1: I didn’t see in the pricing Items with the different delivery locations. In the solicitation is states Delivery of equipment shall be FOB Destination, Anticipated delivery locations are ERDC Vicksburg, 3909 Hall Ferry Road, Vicksburg, MS 39180; and Fort Polk, LA. The freight is significantly different to those locations. We usually win the ERDC Vicksburg locations due to freight costs are lower. Can we specify pricing to both locations with freight?
Answer: Please see Amendment 0001 removing the Vicksburg location.
Question 2: We currently have an existing BPA with you that has this equipment on it.
Would you be able to use that BPA to make your purchase easier?
Answer: We have been using the Equipment Rental BPA for immediate needs; however we have a need to set up an IDIQ contract which is different than a BPA.
Question 3: Can we quote it under any other NAICS code?
Answer: As long as you are a small business under NAICS 532490, then you may submit a quote.
Question 4: Do you have any idea what is the average distance for every move?
Answer: The mileage between the test sites is 2.04 miles, approx. 4 minutes
Question 5: You provided details about First Task order and asked for pricing. Are we required to provide separate pricing for the overall IDIQ and the first task order?
Answer: The pricing table in Section C (page 11) is required to be filled out and submitted with your quote. The pricing used for this table would then be used to price out the first task order.
For example, if you stated $5.00 for the monthly rate for the backhoe, then for the first task order it would be $5.00 times 3 months totaling $15.00.
