About this file

This document contains graphics and application materials for a joint federal and state permit to install and maintain security signs along waterways in and around Joint Base Charleston in South Carolina. Figure 1 through 4 depict the locations and quantities of new and existing signs to be installed and maintained along the Goose Creek, Cooper River, Yellow House Creek/Slack Reach, and Back River and Foster Creek waterways. Figure 5 shows a typical security sign design. The application includes an adjacent property owner mailing list and map requirement.

The related federal contract opportunity is a Request for Information notice from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Charleston District regarding repairs and replacement of waterway signs at Joint Base Charleston. The RFI seeks preliminary industry input and will only be used for planning and market research purposes, not solicitation. The notice includes an attached document with additional information on the RFI.
