Seattle District Meteorological and Hydrological Forecasting Services

RFQ: W912DW-21-Q-0K9H

Questions and Answers: 8/27/2021

• CLIN 0002 states that the provider will "make available" specific forecast parameters for multiple locations every 6 hours. Is the expectation to have an automated process to complete the forecast? Or you asking for a custom software product to be developed ? If the process will be automated, is there a current procedure being utilized?

Answer: This is explained in detail in 2.b.i and 2.b.ii. It is critical for constant availability of the most up-to-date specified weather and hydrology forecasts, updated every 6 hours, automated or not. This availability should be readily available through a secure website arranged by the provider. We currently have a procedure to automate this process.

• Is there currently an automated process to generate graphical forecast images?
