The following items are applicable to this modification:

NOTES

Question: Under section 3. Coarse Solids Separation (Solids Conveyor) the PWS states: “Must utilize a single conveyor such that it is not incorporated in the 20’ wide by 40’ long functional area of the platform.”

- Would a conveyor that is integrated into the 20’ x 40’ area, but still allows the uninterrupted and full use of 20 x 40’ be considered? The function, capability and capacity of the conveyor would meet or exceed the other requirements of the PWS, however the conveyor would be built into the surface and covered by grating allowing water and debris to enter the conveyor. The government would still have full use of the 20 x 40’ wash area.

Answer: This requirement must be maintained. The government's intent is to ensure that the gutter is completely accessible when the 20' x 40' wash area is occupied.

Question: Under section 2 of the PWS about the location of the wash platform it states: “Must be located as shown on Attachment 3 – Wash Rack Location Drawing.” There is no attachment 3. Can you please provide this attachment?

Answer: Attachment 3 - Wash Rack Location Drawing

Question: The PWS States: “Contractor must have system delivered no later than September 15, 2016. Contractor must complete all work, training and supply all documentation no later than June 15th, 2017.” Can you please clarify the delivery date? If the award is not made a for a two weeks this would require delivery of the equipment within 15 days of award.

Answer: Delivery date must be no later than September 15, 2016.

Question: Section 8 Equipment enclosure states the requirements. Is there minimum size equipment enclosure that is required?

Answer: Overall equipment enclosure size to be determined by contractor.

Question: Section 6 A Submittal requirements (Page 4/54) It states: “All submittals as required by evaluation criteria.” What submittals are required and what are the evaluation criteria (Is the evaluation just lowest price meeting the listed technical requirements?)

Answer: Lowest price meeting the technical requirements. There are no submittals required for evaluation.

Submittals that the government are asking for occur after award that will help the government prepare the site for the contractor's equipment.

Question: The PWS states that "Must divert waste-water to a sump prior to entering the closed-loop water treatment system." Typically a "sump" would be below grade. Can the water collection sump be a box above ground to transfer the water to the treatment system?

Answer: Yes, the water collection sump can be in a box above ground. In this case the sump would be below the gutter/platform and before the water treatment system.

Question: Is there a required delivery date for submittals to the government?

Answer: September 30, 2016
