Comment Classification: Unclassified\\For Official Use Only (U\\FOUO)

This is to request that the proposed contract duration be extended to 900 days for the following reasons (1)The phase 1 expansion contract allowed 400 days duration for a much less scope of work. The access for revetment construction in Phase 2 is along the constructed dikes and only a certain number of crews can effectively work on the dikes at one time.

(2)There are two stone quarries on the Bay that have water based facilities. They would not be able to provide the production required for the specified quantity of material in 600 days.

On: Jul 27 2017.

Government Response. . Current conditions permit 600 calendar days as a reasonable construction duration. On: Aug 02 2017 Current Request Status: Request Closed
