About this file
This is a Request for Information (RFI) and questionnaire for the Abrams Boresighting Improvement Sources Sought notice issued by the U.S. Army (Solicitation Number W912CH-26-R-0032). The Army seeks information on capabilities and innovations to improve M1 Abrams tank boresighting processes, specifically targeting solutions that reduce time to boresight, minimize downtime, enhance accuracy, and improve ease of use. The government is particularly interested in innovative approaches compatible with existing M1 Abrams systems that reduce potential errors in this critical process.
Respondents must provide administrative information including company legal name, mailing address, website, authorized technical representative details, SECRET Facility Clearance status, and CAGE Code. The technical capability section requires a five-page PDF addressing boresighting experience across optical system development, optical device manufacturing, familiarity with MIL-STD-810G and ADTP-2404 standards, software coding capabilities, process automation experience, technology readiness level assessments, optical equipment durability improvements, experience reducing weapon sight to weapon bore misalignment at extended ranges, and other pertinent information. Respondents requiring access to the Abrams M1A2 Technical Manual to review boresight procedures must either submit a new DD2345 (Militarily Critical Technical Data Agreement Form) through the Joint Certification Program or provide a current DD2345 form verified through JCP. The DD2345 company point of contact must match existing JCP records to obtain technical manual access.

c. Request Abrams M1A2 Technical Manual (TM) to view Abrams Boresight Procedure
· Upon request, participants may obtain a copy of the boresighting procedures within the technical manual of the Abrams M1A2 Tank. In order to view the TM, the representative must either submit a new DD2345 form completed through the Joint Certification Program (JCP), https://www.dla.mil/Logistics-Operations/Services/JCP/#jcp-certification-us, or email a current DD2345 form to the USG contact that can be verified through JCP.
