We would like to inquiry with you on a clarification that was mentioned on your Synopsis posted on 11/03/15 for Solicitation # W912BV-15-R-0098, regarding Response Date & Time Requirement for Quote. The Synopsis states Quotes are anticipated to be due on or about 12/05/15, but the Response D&T states 12/21/15 @ 1400 hrs CST. Would you please advise on the official Quote Due Date & Time for Price Schedule Only? We understand all Technical Aspects will be required upon award of contract. Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

6334814 Contracting Solicitation 4.4 Depth of Water

In the Solicitation 4.4 Depth of Water, Page 5 of 122, it states the various water depths for each powerhouse, and then the same in section 4.6 page 8 for the Lock and Dams. Some of the depths show the need for a decompression chamber on site such as Tenkiller Power house, 145' dives. Is there a listing we can get as to the locations or job tasks that require a chamber on site? There is no mention of the chamber or manning requirements in the solicitation.

Government Response. . It is not possible to list every piece of equipment that could possibly be used or the bidder's preferred manpower requirements for operating that equipment. It is a measure of the bidder's technical competency for dives that require ancilliary equipment and the manpower requirements.
Dive depths are listed in the Solicitation on Page 4 at 4.1, Page 5 at 4.4, starting at the bottom of Page 6 at 5.1, and Page 7 at 5.6. On: Dec 22 2015

Government Response. . SECTION I, 52.216-19 Order Limitations on Page 67 of 122 of the Solicitation outlines the Order Limitations to include the Minimum Order. On average, the Government has seen the number of dives per year fluctuate between three and eight. On: Dec 22 2015

In the Technical Competency Scenario, at the Webber Falls location, you state a vessel will be required, then you state equipment will have to be hand-transported from the parking lot to the intake deck (-30ft.) Which equipment are you referring to? Our compressors weigh over 500 lbs. Can you please clarify.

Government Response. . The Offeror is responsible for determining the equipment and locations of the equipment required to meet safety and regulatory requirements. Equipment varies from task to task. The Government provides a Performance Work Statement to allow each offeror to formulate their own unique method to safely approach the task and provide a cost effective and safe solution. Government Response. . The gate sizes and configurations vary by location. General sizes are listed below:
Trash racks are generally 24' - 25' wide and comprised of sections 10' - 12' high. The number of sections and the number of racks varies by location.
Intake racks on locks are typically 10' x 7' Tail race gate slots vary from 19' to 36' Mitre Gates (locks) are approximately 35' x 66' Spillway Tainter gates are 50'-60' wide with a dive depth of up to 50' Draft tube gates are 25' x 42' in two sections On: Dec 22 2015 Current Request Status: Request Closed
