About this file

This document is an amendment to Solicitation W912BU24B0017, which is for the overhaul of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers drift collection vessel GELBERMAN. The amendment removes the requirement for a bid bond. The solicitation is for services to perform work on the GELBERMAN, including drydocking, cleaning and painting the hull, assisting with inspections, and miscellaneous modifications and repairs. The period of performance is 60 days from delivery of the vessel to the contractor's yard, with liquidated damages. Bonding is not required. There is a mileage-based cost differential that will be applied to offers. Prior to award, the contractor must enter into a Mastership Agreement for Repair and Alteration of Vessels. The NAICS code is 336611 - Ship Building and Repairing, with a small business size standard of 1,300 employees. Solicitation documents are only available online via SAM.gov, and the contractor must be registered in SAM prior to award.
