Hancock Field New York Question and Answers

26 January 2021

1. The SOW appears to only reference cleaning one tank, but the equipment list references two tanks. I would like to confirm that the scope of work is to only clean and inspect one tank.

1)A) Please reference ATT B for the number of tanks and requested services.

2. The SOW states to remove and transfer 5,000 gallons of fuel, is the base looking to save this fuel? Will it be transferred to the second tank? Or can it be disposed of?

2)A) Fuel will be removed from one tank for cleaning purposes and then moved back so the other tank can be cleaned. Fuel will be removed to the lowest suction point possible. The transfer/removal of the remaining fuel is left to the contractor and will be part of the review process and technical analysis.
