About this file

This document includes a request for information and government responses related to a solicitation for a Leadership Development Program. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District seeks an accredited academic institution or entity partnered with an accredited institution to administer a graduate-level Leadership Development Program for up to 16 Corps employees annually. The anticipated firm fixed price contract includes a base year from May 2022 through June 2023 and two optional one-year periods through June 2025. The program must include political, local culture, and governance components to provide supervisors an understanding of the district's mission. Although a submitted program focused on resilience and was ANSI and ICE accredited, it did not fully address the requirements.

Text version

1. A potential source asked if their curriculum (The Resilience-Building Leader Program) would suffice for the Graduate Level Accreditation requirement? The Resilience-Building Leader Program is a member of both ANSI and ICE.

- Although there is much good in that program for leaders to cultivate it does not hit upon the focus of this particular LDP which has political, local culture, and governance components infused within the program which provide a wide base for supervisors in understanding the NWP mission.
