About this file
This document outlines insurance requirements and a solicitation for fire extinguisher and emergency equipment services. The contractor must provide at minimum workman's compensation, employer's liability, comprehensive general liability, automobile liability, and umbrella form excess liability insurance. Coverage amounts are specified. The contractor must certify insurance coverage and maintain policies with 30-day cancellation notices to the contracting officer. Subcontractors must also meet insurance obligations.
The solicitation seeks firm-fixed-price proposals for commercial fire extinguisher and emergency equipment services for the Department of the Army Corps of Engineers Engineering District Portland. As a 100% total small business set-aside, offerors must have a size of $8 million or less. Proposals are due through the Beta SAM system, with Carol McIntyre as the point of contact for small business questions.
