1. Can you please be more specific about the amount of hours and posts? I went through the PWS and determined the following under 5.3.2 Reception desk building 1947 24/7 which is 8760 hours per year, under 5.3.3 Alarm monitoring building 1947 24/7 which is 8760 hours per year, under 5.3.4 Door monitors for four locations – lobby, west, east and north doors, 0700-1700 5 days per week excluding Fed holidays- 10 hours per totaling 10040 (10 hours multiplied by 251 days for 4 posts) the other requirement is for random security checks and perimeter checks under 5.3.10 and 5.3.11- only listed as 4 times and 6 times per day. I cannot seem to balance the hours other than the managers at 2080 with this information on page 40.
A. The south access typically has two personnel, one at reception/information and one as the alarm monitor, this post is run 24 hours a day 7 days a week, even on holidays. The north, west and east entrance has one person who pulls alarm and monitor duty, they work from 0600 to 18:00 Mon thru Friday. 208 hours per week times 52 weeks. These hours are typically broken up by several individuals who rotate. 200 hours per week times 52 weeks
This is how the hours break out.

A. For all positions
5. Section 1.6.4 states the contractor is responsible for conducting business between the hours of 0800 to 1700 Monday thru Friday. However, Section 5.3.2 states that the front entrance shall be manned by an Access Control Specialist 24 hours a day 7 days a week & 5.3.3 states the Main Reception Desk be manned by one ACS 24 hours 7 days
Would this contract only cover these ACS posts from 0800 to 1700 or would the awardee be responsible for 24/7 staffing of these posts?
