Requests for information (RFI) and government response(s)
RFI 1: It is noted there will be a fall Application, spring application, and some post‐emergent applications later in the season, and other selective application. How many entries each year is the government anticipating and what is the minimum amount that would be treated on each entry.
Answer 1: The amounts that are to be used are listed in the pricing schedule. There are no minimum amounts.
RFI 2: It is noted item 0001AB says "Spring Application April/May for Spot Treatment. 2 for up to
834,363 square Feet." I am not sure what the "2" is referencing, unless it is the number of entries. Item
0001AD has similar wording using a "4".
Answer 2: The “2” being referenced is part of the Performance Work Statement. 0001AB Spring
Application April/May for Spot Treatment. For more information see PWS Part C.2 for up to 834,363
Square Feet (19.15Acres).
The “4” is the same thing in Item 0001AD Selective Treatment/Random Applications for
Control/Removal of Poison Oak, Blackberry, Milk and Yellow Star Thistles, Tree of Heaven, and other identified species. For more information see PWS Part C.4 for up to 500,940 Square Feet (11.50 Acres).
The Contractor will need to show up at least 3 times per year for the spring, fall, and post emergent applications. The selective treatment can be accomplished during the spring or fall Applications.
