2. The contractor shall provide an appropriate level of project management to ensure the efficient and timely, installation, integration and testing of the multimedia equipment. Use existing and contractor components, cables, and hardware for reconfiguration by a team of integration services personnel, including engineers, technicians and/or product specialists.
3. Reconfiguration shall be during normal working hours of 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday (excluding holidays), unless negotiated in proposal scope of work. The contractor shall have uninterrupted access to the workspace during the agreed upon fieldwork schedule. If the contractor is directed to halt reconfiguration once on-site installation has commenced or time is lost due to delays in accessing secure areas, an equitable adjustment for lost labor, productivity, and mobilization may be requested.
4. Contractor provided components, equipment, and display system shall consist of a high definition camera configured to project widescreen (16:10 format) video on a 98” inch wall mounted display screen in the main conference room. The system will provide the ability to access, control, and project VTC capability to a 55” desk console mounted display screen located in an adjacent office. The displays will be utilized for both VTC and local presentation. An AV equipment cabinet with racks shall be installed in the main conference room to house the AV / VTC core equipment and enable PC/laptop video connectivity. A control system (w/touch panel) will be used at the conference room table, with a second one wired in the adjacent office. The touch panels will be integrated for control of AV / VTC, and local PC features within the room and will be programmed to enable a more user-friendly and efficient operation of the system. Install six (6) 2x2 LED light fixtures in 2 separate rows. Each row of lights shall have a dedicated dimmer switch. Re-route electrical wiring as required to align with light fixtures, and provide power for wall mounted display. Replace existing ceiling tile and grid with 2x2 ceiling tile and grid.
5. Options are turn-key and include equipment, installation, reconfiguration, maintenance and support services. It should be understood that training is required for the functional operation of the equipment. The reconfiguration shall include a functional diagnostics of the system.
