MEMORANDUM FOR RECORD

FROM: 125th MSG/MSC

SUBJECT: Minutes of Pre-bid Conference and Site Visit, Solicitation W911YN-17-B-1000, Modify Foam Fire Suppression System

1. The list of contractors attending the meeting is shown on the attached attendance roster. The following Government representatives attended the subject meeting at 2:00 PM local, 7 Aug 2017 in Building 1006:

2. The following items were discussed during the Pre-bid Conference:

a. This is an invitation for bid (IFB) in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 14.

b. The solicitation is set-aside 100% small businesses

c. Interested offerors must be registered in SAM. Go to https://www.sam.gov

d. All solicitation documents are found on www.fbo.gov.

e. All questions must be submitted in writing via email, especially technical questions, to dawn.r.loyd-mccrary.mil@mail.mil DO NOT contact other military/government members. All questions and answers will be posted with the solicitation on FBO.

f. Attendance at the pre-bid/site visit is not mandatory https://www.sam.gov/ http://www.fbo.gov/ mailto:dawn.r.loyd-mccrary.mil@mail.mil mailto:dawn.r.loyd-mccrary.mil@mail.mil

g. The contract period is 120 days after notice to proceed. The schedule can be less than 120 days, but must be reasonable and realistic.

h. Solicitation includes clause 52.219-6--Notice of Total Small Business Set-Aside. This is based on original market research.

i. A secondary organized site visit is being contemplated by the Government.

j. Contractors were advised to check FBO for updates

3. A PowerPoint slideshow presentation was briefed and is attached.

4. A guided site visit of buildings 1001, 1029, and 1049 was conducted. Contractors were advised to submit all questions in writing as no answers given to any questions are official unless in writing.

6. The pre-bid conference and site visit concluded at approximately 3:40 PM.
