AMENDMENT 0001
Request for Information (RFI) Responses:
1. The solicitation notes offeror will receive the notice to proceed (NTP) by August 24, 2020. What is the reason for this delay or can a notice to proceed be issued earlier to start in July?
GOVERNMENT RESPONSE: The NTP may be issued earlier. The NTP date listed in the solicitation is a no later than date.
2. Can you confirm dredge quantities will be paid by survey volume obtained in the corresponding dredge prisms and not by placement volume at the disposal areas?
GOVERNMENT RESPONSE: The material removed will be measured by cubic yard in place, by means of soundings taken before and after dredging. See Specifications Paragraph 3.6 MEASUREMENT of 35 20 23.
3. Is there any survey information around Interstate Island available for barge access from the shipping channel?
Similarly, is there any survey information from the shipping channel to the Transfer Box area depicted in drawing RR101?
GOVERNMENT RESPONSE: The contractor shall make their own investigations regarding access to the placement sites.
4. Page 1 of the solicitation “A Bid Guarantee is required. A Bid Bond must be an original document.
Photocopies will not be accepted (See FAR 52.228-1).” With this being an electronic submission is it still required that Bid Bond be an original? If so should the Bid Bond be mailed? Would it be required to be delivered prior to submission date? If mailed could you provide delivery instructions?"
GOVERNMENT RESPONSE: Instructions to Bidders has been updated with #11 BID BONDS

GOVERNMENT RESPONSE: Yes, see Specifications Paragraph 3.1.1.6 Production Rate BMP of 35 20 23.
