Contracting Discussion
Introduction
Good morning, my name is Jane Roney, I’m the Contract Specialist for this Request For Quote (RFQ). I want to welcome everyone to the pre-quote site visit for the Mosquito Creek Dam, Stilling Basin Joint Sealing project.
The Contracting Officer is Matt Reed.
The Administrative Contracting Officer will be Kevin Cannon.
To begin, I’ll let the Government attendees introduce themselves.
Reason for this Pre-Bid Conference
The reason for this pre-bid conference is that we hope to improve your understanding of the Government’s requirement for this project.
Everyone was given (or will be given) a couple of note cards. These cards are to be used by you with questions that you may have. I will collect these at the end of the Site Visit. The questions and concerns brought up today will be addressed by an Amendment which will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website, https://www.fbo.gov.
We will consider any constructive comments or recommendations that you make, but it must be in writing.
The Sign-In Sheet and my discussion here will be posted to the *Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website.
*FBO.gov will be decommissioned and its functionality will be transferred into beta.SAM.gov on 12 November 2019. The website will be known as Contract Opportunities.
You are cautioned that any remarks made at this site visit conference shall not qualify the terms of the request for quote (solicitation) unless the request for quote is amended in writing.
The one thing we will not do at this conference is to make any comment or opinion regarding your particular bid or approach that you may take for this requirement – this is up to you.
