SUMMARY OF CHANGES
SECTION SF 1449 - CONTINUATION SHEET
The following have been added by full text:
RESPONSES TO VENDOR QUESTIONS
1. Does the requirement include that the contractor provide power (generators) in order to power the shower and/or laundry trailers at all locations?
A: The contractor shall provide all power generating equipment for contractor provided equipment at all locations.
There is no on-site power available. The government will be responsible for refueling contractor’s generators with diesel fuel.
2. If contractor is responsible for providing power generators, is the contractor or the government responsible for fueling the generators?
A. The government will provide diesel to refuel equipment. The contractor shall provide the first tank of tank fuel for all contractor provided equipment. The contractor shall provide any required propane for water heaters.
3. With regards to the shower trailers; total requirements at each location are 20-24 heads divided half male, half female. Instead of the contractor providing two 10-12 head shower trailers with one each dedicated male/female, would it be acceptable to provide three 8 head shower trailers with half of the 24 total heads designated male/female?
A. The contractor shall provide the total numbers of needed showerheads. The government will identify the gender breakouts needed.
4. Will there be access to power on-site or will we need to provide generators? If so, are we responsible for refueling the generators?
A. The contractor shall provide power generating equipment for all shower and laundry trailers. There is no power available on-site. The contractor shall provide the first tank of fuel for all equipment. The government will refuel generators with diesel fuel. The government will not provide propane or fuel other than diesel.
