About this file

This notice of intent summarizes the Army's plan to sole source the procurement of one 3D-MicroMac MicroPrep Pro laser machining station from 3D-Micromac America, LLC. The station will be used at the Army Research Laboratory to prepare samples for subsequent microscopy evaluation within the Science of Extreme Materials Division. Responses to the notice are due by November 27, 2023 at 11:59 AM ET and should be emailed to Adaleta Dougherty. The justification for restricting competition is compatibility requirements with an existing high-resolution nano-computed tomography scanner. While the notice is not itself a solicitation, any responsible sources believing they can meet the requirement are invited to submit a capability statement by the response deadline for agency consideration.
