This effort enables the KASC to return to, and operate from, building 946 after a temporary move to building 1425 during the completion of a 2-year renovation of building 946. The Government will not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn, is responsible to the Government.

1.1. Description of Services/Introduction: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to move KASC equipment and furniture listed in attachment 2 of this PWS from building 1425 and re-install those items into building 946, Osan AB, ROK. The performance of this work shall be as defined in this PWS, except for those items specified as government furnished property and services. The contractor shall perform to the standards in this contract.

1.2. Background: This requirement is the follow on for the initial 2016 requirement to temporarily move the KASC from building 946 to building 1425 until completion of the 2-year renovation of building 946.

Buildings 1425 and 946 are located approximately 500 meters apart. However, a moving truck will be required as a direct path doesn’t exist between the two buildings.

1.5. Period of Performance (PoP): The PoP shall not exceed 10 days. The desired PoP starting date is no earlier than 17 Sep 2018 and the desired PoP ending date is no later than (NLT) 05 October 2018.
